Quite simply, we want to banish the preconceptions among some people that all fair trade crafts are slightly inferior in quality and/or overpriced. The fair trade crafts you'll find on the Jungle Berry website are high-quality, fairly traded and competitively priced. And as with all Jungle Berry products, we source our fair trade crafts directly from the producers, cutting out the middlemen.

In fact, we believe craftwork in general tends to suffer a bad press, too often dismissed as amateur or folksy. We believe passionately in the value of fair trade crafts, and we think you'll agree with us once you've seen our fair trade craft range. Works of art we see, but generally can't touch or use. Manufactured and industrially made objects tend to be purely functional and are destined to be replaced by the next invention or innovation, which is usually only just around the corner.

But crafts combine beauty, originality and functionality. Crafts we can touch and use as well as appreciate for their aesthetic value and artistic beauty. And our fair trade crafts certainly don't create the harmful by-products commonly involved in industrial manufacturing.
